Meet
Solea
At Clover, we are always looking for gentler ways to care for little smiles. That is why we are proud to offer Solea laser technology, one of the most comfortable treatment options available in pediatric dentistry today.
For many children, a dental visit no longer has to mean a shot, a drill, or a noisy room. Solea helps us treat teeth and gums quietly, quickly, and with far less worry for your child.
A Calmer Visit for Your Child
No drill. No shot. No fear. Solea is a dental laser that replaces the traditional drill for most of the treatments we provide. It is quiet, vibration-free, and virtually painless. Many children do not need numbing at all, which means no needles and no numb lip afterward.
It also fits the way we already care for kids at Clover. Like our minimally invasive and biological-friendly options, Solea helps us preserve healthy tooth structure and keep treatment as gentle as possible.
Because a good dental visit is about more than healthy teeth. It is about helping your child feel safe, comfortable, and confident every time they come to see us.
What Is the Solea Laser?
Solea is the first CO2 dental laser cleared by the FDA for both hard and soft tissue procedures. It was developed in Boston by Convergent Dental and is supported by research from the University of California School of Dentistry.
Solea uses a precise beam of light, guided by computer technology, to gently treat teeth and gums. Instead of the pressure and vibration of a drill, your child feels very little, often just a light, cool sensation. It can be used for cavity fillings, frenectomies (tongue and lip ties), gum treatments, and more.
The result is gentle, effective care that feels very different from a traditional dental visit. Many parents tell us their child left wondering if treatment even happened.
